Tetesan Air mata Ibunda Kota Jeruk Melangkah Tanpa Alasan Kaki- Sejumlah pasien di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Paniai, Provinsi Papua Tengah, terpaksa mengosongkan ruang perawatannya. Petugas Tentara Nasional Indonesia - Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia (TNI-POLRI) terpaksa meninggalkan ruang perawatan dua hari lalu.
RS Paniai (terpaksa) dikosongkan.
Kabid Humas Polda Papua Ignatius Benny Ady Prabowo belum menanggapi pemberitaan terkait desakan TNI-Polri agar pasien mengosongkan RSUD Paniai.

Tanpa Air Mata Ubunda Kota tua Kota Jeruk🍊 melangkah tanpa alas Kaki-number of patients at the Paniai Regional General Hospital, Central Papua Province, were forced to vacate their treatment rooms. The Indonesian National Soldier - Indonesian National Police (TNI-POLRI) officers were forced to leave the treatment room two days ago. Today, Sunday, May 26 2024, the family has taken the patient out of the hospital.
"Paniai Hospital was (forced) to be vacated. The patients were all taken out and the hospital was controlled by the TNI-Polri," said Wim Bone Kogoya via messaging application on Sunday, May 26 2024. According to him, two days ago, Friday, May 24, all the patients gathered into one room. Efforts to negotiate between the hospital and the TNI-Polri apparatus were deadlocked.
"People who were sick at the Paniai Regional Hospital two days ago were accommodated in one place. Then TNI-Polri members came in and took control of the hospital," said Wim. Then at 07.23 WIT, all patients and their families were released.
He explained that currently the TNI-Polri officers immediately ordered the entire family to transport the patient to be treated at another hospital. Patients with serious illnesses are given letters of recommendation to be treated at hospitals in Deiyai, Dogiyai and Nabire. "Patients with mild illnesses are treated at home," he said.
The news that Wim received was that at that time the TNI-Polri officers argued that the evacuation of the hospital had been requested by their superiors at the center. "We are following direct orders from the center," said Wim, imitating the TNI-Polri words he heard from his Paniai family.
Spokesperson for the Management of the National Command Headquarters of the West Papua National Liberation Army-Free Papua Organization or TPNPB-OPM, Sebby Sambom, condemned the actions of TNI-Polri officers who forced patients out of the Paniai Hospital on Jalan Raya Madi, East Paniai, Paniai. "That's how barbaric the TNI is in Papua," said Sebby via messaging application, this afternoon.
In a short video received by Tempo, a number of patients can be seen lying in treatment beds. A baby was seen with his head wrapped in an empus tube. He writhed on the bed. On another bed, there was a boy with his right hand wrapped in a white bandage in a lying position. It was also seen that the adults were still lying around with their families standing guard near the bed.

"This is an emergency patient who couldn't move, couldn't eat or drink and was sent home," said a man in a 48 second video recording. The moving images record the patient's condition in the treatment room.
A number of photos and videos obtained by Tempo show the atmosphere of the family and the patient being discharged from the hospital. In the 6 second video, a man can be seen walking while holding a baby. He was assisted by a nurse by carrying an oxygen cylinder with a tube connected to the baby's body. The three people walked towards the hospital yard.
Head of the Public Relations Division of the Papua Regional Police, Ignatius Benny Ady Prabowo, has not responded to the news regarding the TNI-Polri's pressure for patients to vacate the Paniai Regional Hospital. He only read messages sent to his phone number. The message has two blue marks.
Head of the Cartenz 2024 Peace Operation Task Force, Commissioner Faizal Ramadhani, was reluctant to comment on the alleged expulsion of patients from the Paniai Regional Hospital. "Maybe you can contact the Paniai Police Chief directly there," said Faizal in a short message, Sunday, May 26 2024.
